Princess Ronkonkoma Adult Prose Contest

 LONG ISLAND LITERARY ARTS (LILA)
DBA Princess Ronkonkoma Productions, a local not-for-profit organization, is presenting our
3RD ANNUAL ADULT PROSE CONTEST open to all adult writers, all experience levels.

Prizes will be awarded based on four themes:
            1)  Do You Believe in Magic? 
            2)  Grandma’s Garden
            3)  No Regrets
            4)  Parting Words

Prose includes: short stories, memoirs, slice of life, essays, editorials (no rants, please), diaries, journals, letters, biographies, autobiographies, travelogues, fairytales, etc.  No poetry please.

*  Fiction or non-fiction.  Maximum of 500 words per entry. 
*  All entries must be titled.  Please indicate the theme. 
*  Submissions should be in Times New Roman size 12, double-spaced. 
*  Please keep your content G-Rated. 
*  Send two copies of each submission, one with name, address, email address, and phone number on it, and one without. 
*  There is a $10.00 fee per submission or 2 for $15.00.  There is no limit to the number of entries; just include your entry fee for each.

Postmark deadline for all entries is September 10, 2019.

The Award Ceremony for children and adults will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019
from 1:00pm to 3:30pm at Farmingdale Library, 116 Merritts Rd, Farmingdale, NY.
